This week we have been doing the summer learning Journey teasers. We had to do a profile on Lorde or your pepeha or draw the BFG I chose to do the profile for Lorde. I learnt that Lorde is from New Zealand and that she is only 23. What I could do better next time is to read the instructions properly instead of annoying everybody else. What I think I did well was, when I finally got it I did my work and didn’t talk to anyone else. I enjoyed learning new things about lorde and understanding how the Summer Learning Journey works.

  1. Kia ora Zhynaliayah,

My name is Olive and I’m one of the new blog commentators in the Kaikohekohe cluster this summer! I’m working the Teaser Week and I’m super excited to see all your blog activities!

Congratulations on completing your first activity! I’m looking forward to reading your two activities! What a whiz! Well done on your enthusiasm and speed! Wow, I didn’t know Lorde was born in Takapuna. Just the other weekend, I was over there for a plant market! It’s so crazy to think someone famous lived in little old Auckland city!

Hahaha, what a funny fact to include! Lorde’s favourite food is bread! My favourite food changes every week! Although at the moment I’d have to say it’s pasta! Good Old Tasty Pasta. Never lets me down. What’s your favourite food? Do you know anyone who ate strange food combinations? I once had a friend who used to eat Weetabix and tomato sauce together for breakfast! Talk about an interesting mix!

Great job on finishing your Pepeha. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading it and finding out a bit more about you! Thank you for your lovely blog post and have fun completing the rest of the activities.

Feel free to check out my blog and get to know me a little better!
