In Te Ngahere we have been practising our addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I am learning to times big numbers like 56 X 72 . The thing I found challenging was that I always forgot to add the zero when I times the tens column . What I enjoyed was figuring out the answer and being right.

In Te Ngahere we have been carry out a scientific investigation. I am doing an investigation about stains on white shirts and which washing powder was the best to tackle and remove stains.I learned that water is actually the best stain remover that we used. The thing I found challenging was writing a conclusion because there was so many things to write that I could only make it small. What I enjoyed was putting my scientific investigation on my science

For the past week in Te Ngahere we have been training for cross country. I only ran twice but the second time I ran I bet my time by 101 seconds my times are 7:15 and 5:34 what I learned was not to go really fast at the start. What I liked was beating my time every time we ran. What I didn’t enjoy was slipping in the mud.

Last week in Te Ngahere we were lucky to have an author visit, the author's name was  Katarina Lee. She has written 6 books and published 2, the two books are Omri and Lost In Time. What I enjoyed was when she was singing her songs because they were all about the native birds in NZ. What I learned was that you can make a friend with anyone even if it is a octopus. What I didn’t really enjoy was when I had to dance like an octopus with Vanya.
