For this activity I have to describe the problem about the black women and men suffered in America and what Rosa Parks did about the problem and how other people reacted.
The problem was that ever where the black and white kids weren't suppose to be together and Rosa Parks didn't care until one day she got sick of it because she was siting on a chair and then the bus driver said can you please move for the white person and then she said "no". as a result she got sent to jail for not following the law everyone was shock for what she did. Soon they started to realise that it was not fair so the black people stopped going on the bus. The government soon noticed that the numbers were low for the bus in result of this they took that law away.

ReplyDeleteI’m Dani one of the blog commenters here at the Summer Learning Journey. It’s super exciting to see that you have been participating in the Summer Learning Journey! What activity has been your favourite so far? One of my favourite activities is the activity when students share their favourite whakatauki because I love reading all the different whakataukis that learners are sharing.
Well done for summarising what Rosa Parks went through. The bus boycott lasted for 381 days! That’s over a year! Some people walked 15 km to work and 15km home everyday, in rain, sun and snow. I think I would struggle not commuting to work every day using the bus or my car because I can't imagine walking 45 km everyday! Do you walk to school or get picked up on a bus?
Blog ya later,
Dani
